It allows to convert the vast amounts of information and data from your company into useful intelligence to support smart decision making. AWE has a complex package-based application architecture in place : an ERP system for order processing, invoicing and production and a WMS system for the activities in the distribution centers. Most KPI’s are based on the combination of the transaction data from those systems. In order to extensively reduce its reporting and report handling costs, AWE and Trilogy have developed a suitable BI solution for different areas: Finance, Logistics and Sales. As a result reporting lead times have significantly improved (form days to hours), the quality of the data has improved and more importantly the decision makers have now access to intelligence they require to support their strategic decisions.
